i think if the powder is put on thin its OK, but i have had instances where the powder coater would put it on real thick. Considering powder is basically plastic i would assume it would have a insulating effect, not good. I think a safe bet would be to powder the covers, but the cases, jugs, and head i would paint.

1 cyl was fucked up and seller said he couldn't have found spare parts, but i checked up evil bay, there were plenty, viseco kits, cam chains, complete engines, forks etc etc
so i bought it for restoration

an idea to convert the fugly chopper into smth more decent like a cafe race came in to my head very fast, just waqnted to do it without much effort but it never goes that way

the seat unit and tank were no go for a cafe, so i decided to use a modded tank from another oldie and to make a seat unit with hump matching to the tank

I wouldn't recommend try to tig/heli arc over the top of the nasty factory mig welding,it generally doesn't work too good.
That being said Ive stick welded plenty of stuff on motorcycle frames,I prefer it over mig welding myself anyway. ;)

Still recovering, some days are better than others.

nothing special, just was told to pick up my stuff and fuck out, they had no idea how much stuff i had there lol they just wanted my room after reconstruction. on the other hand, could you imagine some bloke building motorcycles at NASA facility? his collegues would infoirm on him soon as. while many people knew about my activities, including many workers, some chiefs, securities, they helped me a lot some for money others just for idea. now i just gotta settle it up with securities to get my stuff off my work. i'll have to finish my projects in my shed.
concerning the fairing, its instruction says EMGO, made in taiwan, bought it from a private seller jess freebe, jess@jessbikes.com, pm him, sure he wouldn't mind me sharing his mail. good luck mate!
