ya know....after you have spent all this money to make this bike quick and you have it already looking great....you're going to have to get a new truck and tag to haul it to the track in. New leathers also. You have to keep up with all this "new" you will be sporting. Don't cheap out now....go all in! lol

Nice leather's I've got new truck's gonna have to
wait a while we bought a new 2015 Sentra yesterday.

I've built this bike with a junk yard motor and it's
time to put a bullet in it.
1980 KZ650 F1
ZX750A1 motor.
Wiseco 810cc kit.
Zukiworks racing ported head.
VM 29 smooth bore's.
Dyna 2000 Ign. w/Dyna mini coil's
APE cylinder stud's and nut's.
APE valve spring's.
APE Track King clutch.
V/H KZ1000 sidewinder.
3.5x18 laced to a KZ1000 disk hub.
150/60/18 Shinko 006 Podium.
63" wheel base.

Got the motor mount's and spacer's done.
Clutch installed cover on and cable adjusted.
Pipe, brake pedal and foot peg mounted so right side's done.

Tomorrow I should get the carb's mounted, get the chain, cover,
foot peg and shifter on, finish the wiring then light this thing off.

Before ya'll bust my chop's those clutch pic's are with the stock
plate count I wanted to see the diff. the thin plate's made.

Bike's all back together and start to fire it off and didn't think
about the battery's been sitting for 2 1/2 month's and my charger's at work.

looking good Dave i have a few questions what plugs are you running ? what sprockets like 15/38 ? and how was the ring end gap ? did you have to file them?oh you are running a 530 so the #'s might be different . john

John the plugs are the factory B8ES NGK's.
Gearing is 16/42 or 16/45 with 530 chain.
Ring gap is per Wiseco at .014 top and .012 second and when I checked
them they where all correct and didn't need any filing.

16/42 gearing X ring chain and alum rear JT sprocket.

DAVE, I AM THINKING 10.5s to 10. 7s with that set up in the 1/4
1/8 might be quicker --good luck sounds good.gives me something to look foward too.

Kawi 10.70's is my goal.
If I run that it make's mine faster then Denco's
hot rodded KZ650.

I did ride it today in the parking lot in the rain just
so I could check out the new clutch set up.
Rain will be out of here over night os I'll get to really ride it.
