Correct, I spray K&N oil on the inside to help catch particles as well.

An epic build, I just read the entire thing. Bravo Jon, you have creativity and perseverance in equally large amounts, the bike looks amazing and I have no doubt it will be when it is sorted.

Hey Jon, what's the word on your new triple trees? Sure would like to your baby in action. :cheer:

I asked Les Holt to hold off. My brother offered to design a set in SolidWorks. The cool thing is that we are going to do a 3D print first so that we can check the fitment prior to machining. We are almost done with the top. I will get a pic of the design up when it is done. You all will see the progress I promise. Weather here has been rainy and cold anyway so I am not missing out on much. We did determine that a 2" drop is all we feel comfortable with triple tree wise.

Glad you're working on it. Like to see how they come out. Just cut up my mounts and going to the welder. Not bad here. Clouds but in the 60's.

My carbs are rebuilt and mounted. Throttle cable is ready to go on. I need to fix that damn oil leak from the oil cooler adapter. Picked up some gasket material last week so I can make a set of gaskets. Its the only solution I can come up with. Still need to do a clear tube test to set the floats also.

I was going to ask you what size O rings go on them. Be back later.

The cooler fittings/oil riser/ sending unit. Mine are ready to go, just wanted to pick up a couple O rings before I put them on.

That's a good question Steve, I don't think mine are the right diameter. If they were they probably wouldn't leak. Well technically only the lower one leaks. I picked up a metric o-ring kit at the parts store. I'm hoping there is one that will work better.
