Hey, just catching up to your fantastic high-end build today.....I'm awestruck. I'm also sort-of glad I won't likely meet with your bike at a stoplight where I live anytime soon......

As my son (then 12 yrs) once told me at the races, to quote - "Dad, I know your my dad and everything, and I love you and I am not supposed to hurt your feelings, but.... that guy made you look like you were going backwards...."

Need help on gear ratio. What size sprockets are you guys running on turbo bikes? I found a 520 countershaft sprocket with the correct offset but it only comes in 18 or 19 teeth. I will have to have a custom sprocket made for the rear wheel which is 18 inch 180 tire. .Any help appreciated.

With stock chain size I usually run 16 x 33 It will pull it fine . And makes motor boost with the load it causes.
Keeps bike very fun and easy on revs on highway.
Or stock gearing of 15 x 33 runs fine too.
Never needed to go the other way like a normally aspirated motor ( 14 x 35 ) NOT needed with turbo
Convert these numbers to 520 chain size ratios

Nice find.
I have one just the same.
I scored an unused Turbomaxx billet pump for mine in a trade
30% extra flow but they are not cheap new.
The stock pump is easily extended though if you have access to a lathe.
Those pans have excellent baffling so no need for a rear pick-up.. Just extend downwards.
The early pumps can have it as a bolt on mod and the later ones a light press fit extension with 3 tig spots to make sure it stays put.
