straight edge, squares, levels are sufficient, use rigid measuring devices whenever possible, and if u do use a tape measure USE THE EXACT SAME ONE THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS, Double check all measuring devices against each other, there are inaccuracies, I have see many time two tape measure side by side comparisons that were off.
Lasers are really cool if u want ur cat to chase the little dot on the wall, THEY LOVE DAT STUFF :blink:
Means and methods my friend. One is not necissarily better than the other, as long as the finished products quality is not comprimised
