Ok the fat side is an experiment of sorts. I am thinking about putting one of those really short GSXR steering stabilizers on, there is a 1/4-20 tapped hole on the side.
He he  I just don't quite have that one figured out yet.

Yes the fat side. I hope u can figure that 1 out too. The stabilizer will be a nice touch.
I am glad i used rattle can paint on my bike for this very reason. it's to hard to get everything perfect the first go round.
I will be making some of these mods myself before i do the final paint job. Is there any tips on witch stabilizer to buy? Thanks for sharing your ideas. You too Doug.

Camera batteries are dead, soon as it's charged I'll post a photo.
If you are reading this, and have a project you have not posted, I encourage you to post it. I find myself thinking "hey it's been a week since I posted any new work". So you get busy on something. Kinda motovates you on the timeline.

Lots of thinking and cyperhin went into the front and rear wheel alignment. Finally completed.
The CR 450 Caliper comes with a carrier, which has a giant hole in it for the dirt bike axle. So bushings are in order. I needed 1.330" spacing to rear wheel from swingarm and had to get the caliper centered on the rotor.
Solution: a two piece flange/ bushing that holds the caliper in the center of the rotor, and center of the axle.
Ahhhhhh let the machining begin!! So nice to make chips again.
Rather than bore you with yadda yadda technical writn jargon, I tried to graphicalize/ duct tape this here sicheeasion.
