Great job. it looks like you’ve got everything covered like a pro.
As for the charging system. You can get a new reg/ rec combo unit from Z1E for about $100. that will give u peace of mind on your journey. they also have alternators , but unless u have an issue with yours i wouldn’t bother.
Unless some of the others here have had issues? i haven’t.
I would add new coils and wires as well. They can go at any time. And if u have a little extra cash u could replace the points with a Dyna S. I went with the Dyna 2000 from Z1E. it was $380. Look here: www.z1enterprises.com/SearchResult.aspx?...KeyWords=dyna%202000
It comes with coils too. The Dyna 2000 has a lot of features I liked. It replaces the stock mechanical advance with an electronic programmable unit. Another problem solved. It has a built in rev limiter and a light that tells u when the timing is right.
So in the end it is very reasonable for all that u get.
I have a bit of a technical question for u. Why didnt u use green foam instead if pink.
Look up at the top right corner of this page and click on Private Messages . i sent u one.

Thanks for the compliments ..
I'm surfing around the forum, and you all have some very cool machinery, so the compliments mean more.
The pink foam, I dunno, I had a shop do the work, i't actually two layers of foam, firm on the foundation, soft on the top.
The programmable ignition, and updated regulator...
Thats the set up I was thinkin about using..if you have good luck with it thats just all the more feedback, exactly what is so cool about this forum.
I forgot to metion the rear brake. A CR 450 master cylinder and Caliper. The caliper and rotor are not in the photo, cause the rear rotor was in machining at the time.

I never think too much about the pipe, it was kind of a lucky hare brained idea. I like the results though. Easy to do.

Yeaaaayyy Z-1 Ebterprises!!
I have purchased a few items form Z-1 Enterprises, I am always impressed.
With some apprehension i purchased a new wiring harness, the price was ahh well not cheap. I however am a big fan of Snap on tools, Starrett tools, and anything of high quality.
High Quality is always worth the money.
This harness is really nice, so if you are thinking of buying one I thought I would post a picture of it. All the connectors are good quality, and there are even grommets where they should be. The instrument light bulbs are even installed in their sockets!!!
I also purchased a new tank form them a couple years ago, very nice as well. Handlebar switches, also very nice.
Picture is worth a thousand words..
