I just received my carbs from being totally rebuilt by Ed.I only have 1 issue,how the heck will I make the rest of my bike look this nice? Thank you Ed,their beautiful. Anybody who needs their carbs done hes the man.

I went a little crazy with my dremel tool waiting for the barrels that was sent to boring.

These are not the carbs in question, but they do show what bead blasting does.

Also, rebuilds like Ron received include replating all the steel hardware, other than the screws, which were replaced.

Very nice!  For the plastic lifters on the choke plungers...have you tried blasting them to get the yellow off?

Didn't Clay say strong Hydrogen peroxide will bleach them white like the number wheel on the speedo? I'd like to know where to get some. 
BTW Ed has always done good work.

Here Ya Go Steve, You can go to any "Beauty Shop" and pick some up. If you get any funny looks at the checkout counter just tell them that being an old hippy you are going to color your new hair implants, ha. And this stuff does do wonders on yellowed plastic bits but it has it's limitations. Totally depends on the original condition of whatever one is whitening. If your plastic is "chalky" it won't repair that. Have been using it for years on the gauges i do, those all too often yellowed out white 1/10 register wheels. 

Oh, also. Blasting is most likely going to be a bad idea, depending on media choice. You will rip them up if you don't drop them in the hopper first.

That would have been my thoughts too....until I saw the results.  Just use broken beads.  It's silica dust.
