I don't agree.  Why did the Administration in 2010 sell all the oil that the last one had to make up for and why? Same reason as now.

The issue here is two things, one, I can’t find what price did the oil going to China sell for. Two, why is China buying crude. China is buying our reserve to add to their stockpile. Right now they control the largest oil reserves at approximately 950 million barrels. How stupid is this current administration to allow this. We are jeopardizing our national security. Unless I missed something no other oil producing nation has agreed to pump more oil. Biden is artificially effecting the price of oil without and end game in place. What happens to the price of oil when the us has sold off our reserves. The price will go up and all he has accomplished is making us dependent on others. China is not only eating our lunch it’s buying up our security. I’d like to know what has happened to the 175 million barrels we have sold. How many other countries are taking advantage of this administrations fire sale and squirreling nuts away for winter. 

 

"Global market " is the key word here. What happens in other parts of the world effects the price we pay in the US. Why? Because that’s the way the oil companies want it. It gets them the highest price per barrel.
There’s nothing stopping Exxon/Mobil or Chevron or ConocoPhillips from selling oil to their fellow US citizens for below market price (and still make $ billions per quarter) but why sell it to us for cheap when when they can get much more on the global market. So, it’s not their fault after all… it’s the globe. They really would like to help us out but its not them, it’s the globe and of course Biden. Biden is the reason.

They are not stupid. They are clever in acheving their goals. They want us out of gas vehicles and into EV's. Sky high gas prices will do it.

And the results are in… TRIPLE PROFITS!
Thank heavens the oil companies are squeaking by during these troubling times. I’m 100% sure they’d help us out if they could. But somebody, with the help of massive tax cuts and outrageous prices at the pump, needs to buy back the those shares.

No doubt they are raking in extreme profits, and they are admitting it. The reason is in the US the EPA has imposed regulations on refineries that are out of line with ROI, thus big oil is shutting them down. Other refineries have been converted to produce biofuels based on the greenies push to get off oil. And in 2021 the current administration blamed climate change on big oil and forced them to reduce production. All this has caused a supply shortage thus simple economics kick in and prices go up. There is a very simple way to stop all this inflation and high gas prices here in the US. The Oval Office resident just has to promise big oil he will use the 370B planned on going to his green buddies will now go to buy oil for the next X years. And he will buy any excess to refill our SPR. This would give big oil confidence that their investments would have a good return which would drive oil prices down immediately thus the cost of goods and material transported by oil would start to drop in the economy could stabilize. Once the economy is stabilized yes start looking for alternate fuels that will meet our future requirements. Currently they are forcing some thing our environment/technology is not ready to handle.

It's not in the Resident's plan if that's REALLY him.

And oh yeah, Hunter Biden still owns a piece of the Chi-Com firm that "The Big Guy" sold our oil reserves to!
