kzjoe900 love your dogs name  .
i love the sharks mouth idea jydog.
my buddy roynor from norway put one on the spoiler of his j-model.
i don't see a problem with your testing set up.i did use about an 18 inch long section of tube but still i would think the tube was the week link.
i have tigged all the tanks i have welded on so i can't give you any help with the mig.
i hope you get it all sealed up so you can move on to the sharks mouth  !

Well, I think I screwed the pooch. Heated the side of the tank until it warped. Im begining to think tig is the only way to go or I need sharper skills on mig/brazing this light sheet metal. Well, I have two options now. I've got a cop bike tank off ebay on the way. I'll have to see what condition it is in or I could try and use my zrx tank. I feel defeated. Lesson learned.

Can you put up a picture of a the bike with the ZRX tank installed? You can get some feed back on how it looks. I would love to see what it looks like. Too bad about the tank. It was looking really sharp on there.

Here is what mine would look like with the zrx tank. It would need to modified to sit lower to look right.
Here is what another guy did to make the zrx tank fit.

I actually like the way (angle) you have it sitting the bike compared to the video. Maybe needs to be lowered a bit (1/2 an inch or so) in general but keeping the same angle and not slanted forward like in the clip. That's my .02. But looks great on the bike.
