I hope I am not speaking out of turn I dont have a ton of experience in Morotcycle wiring but have researched led lights and have installed an integrated tail turn LED setup on my KZ

the lower resitance or draw of the LED makes my brake warning light flash to cure this problem I need a resister (forget the ohms looked it up just cant remember) to equal the load or resistance of my stock bulb.

Heres where I am over my head but in theory the gas gauge uses resistance at either point to switch the low fuel light on or off. so if you do the math and figure the amp draw on the stock bulb you replaced. do the math to equalize the draw on the bulb add the proper resister your light will go out and come on at it should. I was told Radio shack 3 bucks or less.

I am removing the brake light warning bulb because it's irritating and part of my reason to go with led is to lower my draw on the charging system.

I know the warning was put there to let me know when I have a non functioning brake light or low brake pressure on my front brake. I am counting on my constant monitoring and maintenence of my bike to be my light.

Hope this helps because I think with a little research and a 3 dollar resister your fuel light would work. Wish I had a low fuel light.

Ah...so I have to do some math on the resistor. I should be able to figure that out. Thanks for the input :)

Mine are going white but i dunno if that'd suit your colour scheme!

Tell me, do you know if a 77 KZ750 has a low fuel light warning? If it does i'll be interested to see how you get yours & the acewell working together. :cheer:

Interesting...not sure how it works, but the kit looks way easier. LOL!

And I bought myself one of those 12 x 12 sheets online (to make sure I got the ethanol proof stuff), and it should be here in a few days. :)

Can't wait to see that! Should be cool. Can't say I've ever seen them white before. It doesn't look like your bike has a low fuel light. Here is a wiring diagram for the 77 B2:

i looked at your adapter. the one I made looks identical with out the petcock hole (to clean the rust out before I paint them) and the stuff works great with gas, Kreem cleaner etcher, CLR, I have tried it all and let them set full for weeks and it worked great no leaks.
