It works on Win 8.1 but not on my XP machine. Gotta upgrade. I looked for them a few days ago but only found the spring. Not a bad price for new but with shipping it comes out to $39.49. Got mine for $10.
The point I was making they are the same from Z1 to KZ 1000 ST.

Win XP? wow, that software is kinda outdated. My buddy Bill stopped supporting that setup ~5 years ago. I must admit I do have an old XP machine here that keeps my girl entertained for hours playing solitaire, etc. I took it out once and put in a screamer win 10 machine in, but she put it back in and told me to leave it alone. lol
It appears they were changed to the 10mm threads in late 1981 along with the J motor 998 cc and 85 mph speedo changes.. yet still available through one of the better vendors that still source parts for these old kaws. :S
Yeah, the + frt is kinda a deal breaker for me at times too..
I would never try to thread a nut onto bolt threads that caked and rusty, and at the very least clean the part up on with a bench grinder with a wire wheel. Better yet, would be a soaking in Metal Rescue for a few days to remove the metal oxide from the part. A nut would probably spin right on if the rust were removed.

I was my Mom's computer. 74.5 GB with 46.0 free space. I wouldn't go to Win 10. Made so it can be accessed by you know who. I'd like to go 7 or maybe 8.1. This laptop is only 26GB and what they have installed takes up most of the space. I'm lucky to have 5GB to use and can't find the extra crap they have on it. Have to download and save to card all the time then use CCleaner almost daily.
Yeah I'd clean those bolts up too. Mine were 40+ years old then one day I noticed the stand was a little sloppy. Looked and one bolt was missing. I used red Loctite on them this time. Good thing I have a spare.

The link worked fine for me.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Chrome doesn't support XP anymore, maybe that's why.

It sounds like you need to invest in a new, used notebook with more / larger hard drive. You conspiracy theorists get all uppity over the slightest little things. sheesh.
Never mind the win 10 spyware, it does get updated every few days.... the man behind the curtain is only watching and recording your every move. You will be assimilated.

Lots of NOS on Fleebay if you wanna pay $40 a pop, lucky I had 2 good ones out of the 3 I had, thats why i needed to chase the tabs on the frame so I didnt ruin the precious ones in my possion.
Thanks everyone. so to recap the threads on my '78 B2 are 14mm-1.25. Seems to be the same on all of mine. '76 900 B1 and A4, and my '79 B3 Frankinbike....

Here’s what I did. I have a 78 KZ1000 LTD with 81 LTD pipes. The frame has the mounts to install the center stand so I got a 78 KZ1000A centerstand. It fit but the foot lever didn’t match the cut out in the pipe. So I ground off the welds for the lever and brace and just slid it down the centerstand leg about an inch. Checked for alignment and rewelded. Works great.
