Hey Russel
That swingarm looks good. Shout if you need any help getting the bushing or sleeves done for mounting it, What donor bike wheel/brakes etc will you run with it?
Looks like we may soon have enough KZ,s here to start a Middle East club!

I have some progress this week, the offset sprocket and new 530 chain have arrived so that has gone on, the previous front sprocket has been milled down to make a washer sized spacer for fine tuning. My logic is every mm that I can move the sprocket out means my rear wheel gets closer to centre. Unfortunately the rubber carb manifolds still have not arrived so there is a delay with getting her running to test so I can get stripping to polish and paint. Also got some forward controls hooked up, only so I can ride to test everything, I have not decided what controls will be used on the final build.

Paul,
Thanks for the reply. I like the idea of a KZ Middle East Club!
I received bad news today regarding the swing arm, the guy doing the powder coating ruined the swing arm, and now the guy I purchased it from is offering to refund my money or show me two other swing arms he has; pics to come shortly. I'm of the mind to just get the refund and look for something here.

Russell , I will send you the name of the place to try get swing arm . I paid 4000aed for all components, forks, triple clamps, brakes, swing arm wheels etc. included also were the original hayabusa rear sets. It will all add up if you have to try mix and match those little components.
Got my fender in today, needs a bit of fine tuning to be mounted but the carbs are on!

I spent a few weeks cleaning up my old 2000 zx6r, I am planning to go the same route with the wheels on the KZ, they will be coated green to match the bike colors with a polished lip. The final choice of green is not yet decided.

I have been toying with some ideas for mounting pegs and brake/gear shift. Made up some plates to accommodate but not sure this is the way to go. I feel like it's not getting an aggressive enough riding position and the pegs are to close to standard positioning.

So all in all what is the easiest swing arm mod? You’re top pick for one?
Thanks,
Sorry I posted this Q here.
My bad.
Well now that I,m here what did you do to fit the tree's on? Push the KZ stem in and call it a day?
I have been looking hight and low for a step by step on how to do any USD fork swap with no luck.
Thank you for your time.
Steve

Paul, your bike is looking great! I have been working on mine and now am just awaiting all the new parts I ordered: LSL naked bars, new headlamp, progressive shocks, carb kits, 12v indicator flash, air pods... making final decision on tail light, turn signals and custom seat. You may have a look at my blog here:
