We welcome any KZ/GPZ riding member here. We may be mostly purists but your still riding a KZ and that's what really matters. :)

You got 2 question there, bro.

1) I do not like chopped K´s at all. IMO it´s a rape.

2) All kinds of members are welcome. It´s the common intrest of old Kwaks that keep us here.

Just my 0,02€

And no chopping:huh:

Personally, I don't like chops, but I have no idea what kind of member you are :)

I don't object to chops, it's your bike and your money, so do what you want with both.

There are a number of members that like choppers/bobbers/etc, and they don't seem to get any grief over their opinions, so I doubt anyone will give you a hard time.

I'm a slow typist and it looks like it's started since I began typing :woohoo:

We may be mostly purists

Mostly purists eh? Try doing a search for "Front end swap" or "Swing arm swap" to see how perverted we really are

Guilty of installing a Suzuki front end and GPz750 swing arm on my KZ750E myself

Airplanechirp, I know how you feel, some of the feedback is kind of foul. Me, I like variety, from stock to custom. Most builds are beyond restoring and need some form of customizing to get them back on the road. To each their own, keep building and riding what you like.

I like any build that is well executed...and every member here has something useful to contribute regardless of the type of KZ they ride...it's not uncommon for a guy with a chop to come up with an interesting way to improve something or solve a problem that the other members can use...I say WELCOME ABOARD and bring it on...lets see what you got brother!!!B)

i would love to see some build pictures of your chop.
i like anything with two wheels that gets my "knees in the breeze".if it uses a kawi for motivation so much the better.i love the thought that someone can have there own vision of what a motorcycle should be,then follow through and build it.simplicity is really nice on motorcycles.hard to get much more simple than a chopper.
welcome.

Welcome aboard guy!

Anyone remember the guy who posted his total custom chopped KZ he designed and made, it had a handmade frame, was painted silver and he got more kudos than I ever remember anyone get. Then he was gone. It was a beautiful bike. This was maybe 1-1/2 - 2 years ago?

Here it is, found the thread.

+1

I'm not a fan of choppers. At all. I think it's stupid to make a bike handle worse.

That said, to each their own.
