Sir, who are you talking to ?Now I was nice when you\'ve done this before and let it go but others who have posted they want to do it correctly. I was asked to do a write up regarding the technical reasons, of which I have a degree in...
As for a know it all, naw for example when it comes to head/valve work.., Out of my league other then posting questions regarding whom to send it to...
Same with a lot of other areas... See this is what the site is about, share the wealth of knowledge in learning these old KZ\'s and what you can learn off some of the others who have been working on them for quite some time..
Hardrock, Aren\'t you the one who said \"Nothing but the best in your 14K rpm build, money is no object, do it right\" blah-blah-blah... Right....
So listen up you little douche bag... This is my post and you felt the need to jump in and add your smart ass bull shit as always...
Don\'t like it then STFU and get out of the posting, pretty simple.

There truly are a numerous amount of guys here who have 20-30 years each on these magnificent old KZ's... You'll learn quickly who they are and these are the guys who have shared their wealth of knowledge with me....
Since they wouldn't except any other form of gratitude, I share their knowledge in tutorials. Some may see it as a know it all mentality but obviously they don't have a clue as to the real reason I do so.
You'll also learn the ones who for the most part talk out their asses... Leave it at that... :S
Example, it's true when I arrived several years ago didn't know much about the KZ's, but doesn't mean I didn't know motorcycles. I grew up riding dirt bikes and progressed into road bikes as most of us have done as well. So studying & learning the KZ's was the game plan.
Studied the manuals, not just read them but freaking studied them, studied web literature and other authors work. Asked intelligent questions to the right people, came to realize who where the guys that truly knew the in's and outs of these KZ's... Basically just bugged the hell out of them in theories, what I had studied, what I had learned on my own and documented each step of the journey in several aspects of these old Kawis'.
If you're interested, go to the KZR file data base and search OMR.... There's several tutorials I placed there to share with others...
If you truly want to blow your mind, "CAM Degreeing for Zombies".... There's Can Tank Painting, front end and rear swing arm conversions, Buffing & Aluminum brazing, DYNA EI ignition installation, Electrical Theory and a whole slew of Carb related articles, manuals and tools I came across in my journey to learn jetting in my build.
All in all, share the wealth "others knowledge"... Obviously, seems to rub others wrong but oh well, can't please everyone... I'm sure if you search hard enough you'll find something Hardrock has contributed and given back to the community....
Anyhoot, welcome! :woohoo:
