19 Mar 2025 11:39You shouldn't leave them ticking over with no airflow over the cylinders for extended periods either.It doesn't take 10 minutes. 2 maybe. In reality when you've feathered the choke so it's revving about 1500-2000 you can ride it normally and after a further minute or two close the choke.
All air cooled engines are the same, they have to be or they'd always be overheating in traffic, at lights etc.
I hear what your saying but I’m telling you what the bikes currently doing.

19 Mar 2025 12:402, 3 & 4 are lean. Screw your airscrews in 1/8 turn on those three.

Have done... thanks everyone for the suggestions, I'm still amazed dropping the fuel level could make such a vast difference,
