Re: Drain plug size
29 Nov 2024 05:15If you have an m6 x 0.75mm DIE you could simply make the fitting from scratch using 6mm brass rod or tube but you could run it down the 1mm pitched barb to overlay the 0.75mm thread to enable it to screw into the bowl.Damn.. can I use a tap to transform the 1pinch to 0.75mm to my fitting?!
The overlaid 0.75mm thread will be hit and miss though as it removes 2/3rds of the 1mm peaks and miss aligns on the troughs etc so will only be able to be screwed in lightly by hand and care must be taken that it doesn't cross thread on the start.

I received from Amazon 10 x plastic 6mm Hose Barb M6 External Threadfor 15$ CDN.
They are not .75 mm tread but I was able to fit them without damaging the bowl treads.
Please dont give me sxxt for the bowl damage....blame the previous owner or his mechanic
By the way, I would like to replace them but could'nt find them anywhere.

A follow up with the plastic bart hose, after inserting them once they become with the same thread as the drainage screw and easy to reuse them...@ $1.50 each
