I need help, again, from you Mikuni CV guys.  NOT Keihin, Mikuni.  More specifically, I need info on the drain screw in the float bowl.

- use calipers to measure the OD inside the O-ring groove of the drain screw.
- then measure the OD of the hole in the float bowl, that the screw goes into.

The kits I put together were for the Suzuki variant of the BS Mikuni carbs, but the KZ version has a couple of differences, and I don't have a carb in front of me so I can verify the proper fit.

Edit:  Z1 states the following...
OEM: 92055-044 supersedes 92055-028
D1 = 3.6mm
D2 = 1.75mm

Used on the carb drain screw on KZ1000C3 (some)/C4/J/K/M/P/R- KZ1100- KZ1300- KZ650H- KZ700- KZ750K/L/M/R- ZN1100- ZX750A

Edit 2:  I've placed an order (not from Z1,) and also ordered the last couple of sizes for kits for the Keihin CV34 O-rings too.  They should be here in a few days.

Okay, dang it, now I need help with the pilot screw O-ring size for the Mikuni CV carbs.  I'm used to the Suzuki variant, which uses small O-rings on the tip of the screw.  But, the KZ variant uses O-rings at the other end.

Edit: looks like 1.5 x 2.5mm  Gotta get some of these now...

I am interested in a set o rings for both carburetors as I have 1980 KZ750 Ltd. and a 1981 KZ1000 Ltd., you never know when you are going to need them

I've got both sets ready to go now.  The 750 carbs are Keihin CV34's, and use a 67mm float bowl O-ring.  A couple of drops of threebond sealer, or superglue, in the groove, and then use tape to hold it in place until it dries.  For the 1000 carbs, I've got both pilot screw and pilot plugs O-rings in stock now.

I got mine and Ness is a gentleman to deal with, at this price it's worth having a set in your "just in case" box

Need some help again, guys.

Does Kawasaki use O-rings on the fuel Tee or fuel transfer tubes on any variant of VM's?  Suzuki did, on at least one bike, so I've always included these O-rings with the kits.  I'm just starting to think that most KZ applications, if not all, won't use them.  I don't mind including them, mind you.  I bought a bag of 1000!  That should last a lifetime!  Anyway, please share your thoughts.

I have 10 sets of vm26 and 28 kz carbs and all have the rubber bonded fuel tees and tubes..
I've never seen a stock set of KZ carbs with 'O' ringed tees etc.

I agree with Wookie, Nessism is a great person to deal with ! I bought a set a few weeks ago and I'm waiting for my choke plungers from zed 1015 another great trustworthy member to deal with !!!

Also Nessism you can quit including the fuel T/ transfer tube O-rings as zed 1015 said they aren't needed for Z1/KZ........Thanks!
