Hey Scirocco
I don’t trust it either. Would have any thoughts as to what sizes to order?
Kawasaki wants $10 per shim and a kit from Hot Cams is roughly the same money, $80-$100 but doesn’t have 4x2.40 shims.
This Covid nonsense is really messing with my bike

Your local Kawasaki dealer or bike shop should have what you need. Give it a try.....
My Würth set of shims, steal deal on ebay (80 Euros).

I have called 6 different Kawasaki dealerships and none of them have shims in stock. I will need to search eBay.

Okay so I got my shims in a few days ago after waiting almost 4 weeks. I have replaced the ones I needed to as per the math on my service manual.
Results:
1 - .127
2 - .152
3 - .152
4 - .178
5 - .178
6 - .178
7 - .203
8 - .127
I realize that 7 is a bit high but I’m not sure it’s worth tearing down the motor again.
Thoughts?
Thanks

It´s ok to be 3/100 mm on the high side. The engine milage will cure the valve gap.
It´s more important to write up the valve lash and shim thickness for later valve adjustments!
