The plug is there. It's tapered and sits below the surface. There is a flat donut O-ring type seal that sits on top of the plug. As mentioned, a fat O-ring of the appropriate diameter can be used instead.

The screwdriver is in the lower section where there is no mating surface for the gasket to sit on, so I thought that's where this plug would fill the gap.

Thanks so much!
Never having seen the carbs before the PO overhauled them, I didn't know what was "correct". Looks like I just need to get an appropriate o-ring and I can move on to the Pilot Jet Plugs and o-rings and all the parts will at least be inside the carbs.
That seems to be a super random part to be able to find and take a picture of. I appreciate you taking the time to do that.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationSuzuki GS bike carbs used rubber plugs for the pilot passage. You can find them on ebay or order from Z1
