I'm looking for Keyster kit Number FK-5205N for 28 pumper... I found the Keyster site but am concerned that its out of date... The last date on the copyright signature is 2014... Most current site will have the current year... Has anyone purchased from Keyster lately??? I'm not the type to just through my CC number around the internet...

Z1 Enterprises in Florida has the popular Z1000 Tornade kits listed on his site although not the Z1R one you need but you could message him first.
I've just been on the Keyster site and once I had registered I got a confirmation email then did a test order of four fk-5205n kits and everything went ok except I didn't actually buy them.
It calculated shipping and the postal method etc so certainly looks live and there's a Paypal option so the payment is covered.

Thank You Zed1015... I also successfully registered and went thru the process up until completed the purchase. I sent Z1 Ent an email to see if they can get the kit might save on shipping... Its was 25.00 from Japan... Every dollar saved helps>>>

Hey Mikaw.

I have purchased a keyster kit directly from the site. However not for your specific carbs. I bought a single Z550FX kit for my tk22 carbs. Cost about 4000 JPY for the kit and 2500 JPY for shipping (so roughly $60 total). they have to process both the payments separately. Took about 3 days for them to process payments and ship it, but after it shipped it got delivered pretty fast. They have a tracking page so you can see everything being accepted and shipped also with a ship tracking. Of course I purchased it after I found out Z1 sold a kit for the kz550 from keyster with the exact same jets and everything... for cheaper($36.99 a kit!)... luckily I only bought one kit.

So as far as the contents go, this is a really high quality jet kit. All the jets are really nicely made, new O rings, and the gaskets are this extremely nice material. I highly recommend it. I purchased 3 of the KZ550 keyster kits from Z1. Haven't received them yet but I assume they are exactly the same.

Hope this eases your mind about buying directly from them if you need to.

You can also get Keyster kits here. I have purchased other stuff (but not carb kits) and gotten good delivery times.

The real Keyster kits are really good, well-made kits. But be aware, there are also fake Keyster kits out there. They are not really counterfeit since they don't actually say "Keyster" on them and the packaging is very different, but the part number is the same as the Keyster part number (KK-0049), I think to intentionally mislead the consumer. The fake kits have non-useable needles and the jets may be drilled incorrectly... basically they are only good for gaskets.

Here's a link to show the difference.

KZ550 kits came into day from Z1, so I was able to get a real good side by side of the z550fx kit I ordered directly from keyster.

So the kits both have the exact same contents but labeled for different bikes. Weirdly small differences.

-The kit z550fx kit, although they are the same jets and needles and everything, are shinier. As if they were polished better, but was
hard to capture the lust differences on camera (the Japanese are keeping the best ones in their home market I guess).
- The air screw in the z550fx kit was packed in a tiny plastic bag, as apposed to the kz550 kit where the air screw doesn't
- The needle jet in the z550fx kit has a part number on it "M39B" where the KZ550 needle jets don't have a part number on them at all.
- Out of ALL 4 of the kits, one of them had a sticker in it (KZ550 kit funny enough)

So if you order directly from the homeland you'll get a slightly better kit, but not a difference thats worth the extra money in shipping.

Pulled the trigger and completed the purchase threw Keyster Japan. While I’m waiting on them I have a question about the hose shown as circled item 36 on the following photo. Mine are hard and not sure how well they will seal when reinstalled. Problem is I’m not finding replacements. So is it critical they seal perfectly or does anyone have a source for replacements
