gordone please run 100 miles on the new spark plugs to get an meaningful result on your spark plug colour!

I have taken one new measurement on gas consumentuon and got 0,67 liter per 10km, is that okay? My weight is 110kg.

I will try to take out the plug next week.

If I remember right about the gas mileage most folks are getting around 40 miles per gal....... give or take a few. Sorry but never have taken the time to figure out much on the metric scale.
1978 KZ650 b-2
700cc Wiseco kit 10 to 1.
1980 KZ750 cam, ape springs, stock clutch/ Barnett springs.
Vance and Hines Header w/ comp baffle and Ape pods, Dyna S and green coils, copper wires.
29MM smooth bores W/ 17.5 pilots, 0-6s and 117.5 main
16/42 gearing X ring chain and alum rear JT sprocket.

6.7 /100km comes out at about 42mile per US gallon . 1 US gallon = 3.7L

I cant remember what i get on my 750 but i think my fuel comsumption is at least the same and probably worse.

By contrast i get 6.2 L/ 100km in my Toyota Corolla.

These old bikes are not noted formtheir fuel efficiency.

Looks like I’m where I should be then.
I have carbs from a 650 engine, so I properly you some less then orinale 750 engine?

Looking forward to take a look on the plugs now :)
