Took apart a set of VM26's today and found O-rings on the Needle Jets (the piece the main jet screws into).

I don't remember seeing any. I'll have to pull the emulsion tubes on my 28's to see if there are any there as well. They are identical except the nozzles are smaller. Hmmmm.

I pulled a set apart years ago to see if the parts were interchangeable. The slides were the same and the floats, I think the needle and seats were too. Everything else were different. Why I did it I don't know. Bored I guess. That was STUPID.

Hmmmmm.....not on mine so far. I have all the brass out except the needle. So far, no rubber O-rings.
However, after hearing from Patton, I think it was, I inspected the gas transfer tees and in fact, as he suggested, found them to be cracked and dried out and in total need of renewal SO that was an insightful observation on his part.
Now I need to break them down and separate them from their mounts. I'll clean them up well and dip them.

You are correct, the fuel tees are cracked and dry and need replacement. Thanks for the tip, I now will need to separate them and clean the internals and externals.
In the end, it will be worthwhile to go through them and clean up the linkages and hardware at the same time.
Thanks, All
