Steve, it is a 1980 kz750e. It is a CV34 mm-30 carb according to the manual...I believe the one I've been working on is the no2 carb (when riding the bike the second one from the left that has a hose into the petcock (fuel tap).

You should be able to buy carbs on eBay to switch parts.

I believe you need this kind of screw extractor, not the spiral tip type...

I don't understand why the extractor is all blue. You should be using a torch or heat gun on the base of the post sticking up and then shoot the extractor down into the hole after it's heated. I used a full size torch on my pilot jets after shooting a bunch of PB Blaster down the hole first. About 10 seconds of heat was plenty to break all the old varnish and corrosion down.
