Alright took the bike out this weekend for a few miles and runs good at low Rpms once I get about 1/4 throttle it starts to pop and loose power idles good drives good just not at higher Rpms could carb syncing be my problem now or do you think the main is to lean yet?

Carb sync affects mainly idle. Past 1/16 throttle, it should not matter.

Assuming the motor and ignition are working properly,
Does it run worse if you open the throttle quickly or slowly? If it runs worse opening quickly, then it's probably rich, If it's worse when opening slowly, then it's probably lean. This would be the range where the needle has the most affect. But a main that's significantly off can contribute as well.

Does it sound hollow when you open it up?

What seems to happen is if I roll into it quick or slow doesn't change it at full wide open throttle it runs as good as I believe it should but if I roll off the throttle about 1/16 to 1/8 of a turn from wot it starts cutting and popping and as for if it sounds hollow it is hard to answer that due to the pod filters I can't really tell if it sounds hollow or not with them because they make the bike sound night and day different. Sorry for the late response been working on a few different projects

I'd start by lowering the needle clip one notch, see if it gets better or worse.

Which pods are you using?
Bikes: 82 kz750 CSR, 03 Suzuki gsf1200s (stage 2), 73 CB 750 bored to 849, big cam, ports head, big valves, lots of other goodies....

The needles are the last thing you touch. Fine tuning. Sounds lean to me. I'd go up one full step on the mains. 112 to 115.

The needles are unadjustable and I have 104s you think I should do like 107s or go all the way to 112s?

I was looking at this chart not knowing what carb style you have. They go in 1/2 steps. I'd go one full step with the needle in the center position. That way you can drop the needle or raise it to fine adjust.
