I had a screw strip when taking about a throttle valve for cleaning. I would like to replace it with an identical one. The screw measures 5mm head diameter and 16mm in length. Would these
float pan screws
work even though they are stated as float bowl screws? A measure of my float bowl screws is 7mm head by 16mm length.
Could these be found at a local hardware store? I'm not familiar with the nomenclature of screws.
Is this the same ?
Thanks

In the interest of speed (even though, Z1e has always been fast to deliver stuff I've ordered from them), You should be able to take the stripped-headed screw with you to any Home Depot or Lowes and go into their fastener aisle. Look for the drawers of hardware that are marked Metric and then find the drawer with the same sized screws.
They usually have a guide hanging on a shelf nearby that will allow you to test screw-in your screw into various nuts. This will identify the screw for size and thread pitch for you, then just match this to the drawers...
This way you can purchase just one or a few instead of a dozen.
Good luck! I have a handful of screws I have to replace on KZombie too. Just old and worn out due to rusting or hard living. Kinda' like me. LOL

I've picked up screws at the HDWR store. Take one with you.
