I'm sure they are the stock KZ1000 airbox to carb rubbers, they go through inside the "bread box" to act like a velocity stack which is supposed to be beneficial to good running.
The engine side of the carbs is stock too I believe.

I took my carbs off this afternoon to check one of the floats and polish them up a little and had a nice surprise in store they are 28mm Mikunis with the accelerator pump, I don't know if they have much advantage over the 26's, but at least I won't be going round wondering if I need to find a set of 28's because my 26's are considered too small by some..

On the Abe style bread box the rubbers go inside the airbox almost to the back of it, so they are much longer than what you can see from the outside. One reason I've heard these filters run well is because of this, you have a long entry into the carb like a velocity stack as opposed to a pod filter where the air goes pretty much straight in to the carb, coming from all angles.
Anyone needing a cheap airbox go here OEM and under $4,001 !!!
