Q: jet OEM nr.
02 Jul 2015 14:06
Hi!
I'm currently wrestling with my '83 KZ750 H3 Keihin carbs and .....
The OEM for #35 pilot jet is 92064-1001
What is #40
92064-1002 is #38.
Any hints, where to get them?
WbR

My bad.
1002 is not an option: 1978-1979 KZ200 92064-1002
What is a correct OEM nr. for #40 jet?

I don't know what the part number is for #40. According to Kawasaki.com the #A37.5 pilot jet is part number 92064-1036. Maybe some carb guy on this site can answer. Ed

Many of us with 750 4s with keihin CV34 carbs would like to try a larger than 35 pilot but alas none have been able to find a source to date.
If you find a source for the #40 please please post the info here
ps Undiablo calls these unobtainiun and I would agree

TNX, but..
92064-1036 is for MIKUNI.
I have KEIHIN 34'
The reason for my asking is, that I bought a jet-kit with all necessary parts, but the slow/pilot jets were wrong, but still #40
So in order to make stuff work , looking for correct jets.
Have some tools:
bot none so small.....

Help me to understand. The 92064-1036 pilot jet is the one shown for the H3 in the Kawasaki.com parts diagram (see www.kawasaki.com/Parts/PartsDiagram/144697/1983/KZ650-H3 ). If that isn't the correct pilot jet for you carbs, did you or someone else swap carbs on the bike or is that diagram wrong? Ed

Thanks. Here's what I found. The 1983 "H3" in the Kawasaki.com parts diagram I linked to is actually a KZ650-H3 not a KZ750-H3. I don't know why, but unfortunately, the Kawasaki.com diagrams do not include a KZ750-H3.
They do show the 1983 KZ750-L3, but for that they show the same carbs as the KZ650-H3.
If you look at the KZ750-L3 diagram at www.kawasaki.com/Parts/PartsDiagram/136401/1983/KZ750-L3 do those carbs look different than yours? I'm not familiar with the CV type carbs, so don't know how to tell Mikunis or Keihins apart. Do you know if Ma Kaw used both carb types in '83? Maybe Kawasaki.com just has the diagrams mixed up? I wouldn't be too surprised if they did. Ed

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationIf all else fails you can try these.
Steve
Don't try to use the drill by hand. You'll break them. Put the jet in a drill motor and let the bit cut it's own way in.

Yes, it's a MIKUNI on that link.
This drill is a bit big I think :S :S
I need #40 but on that set is the smallest #60.
Or is the flow rate on the jet, not the size?
