The thread via this link may help:

Am thinking three nipples from the float bowl associated with #2 fuel pump carb, one being the overflow nipple from the overflow circuit (for attaching a hose whereby gasoline may be discharged underneath the bike), and the other two nipples being for hoses connecting to the carbs on either side.

Good Fortune! :)

OK,...so to try to answer the original question in this thread,...As a starting pint,...120 mains should be good and for the pilot,...if you have a 5DL31 type needle then you should go with 17.5 others should stay with 15. That is what I was told by Red Line Cycle and is in fact what I am running 120/17.5 on my 1978 KZ1000 with VM26's and it is running fine. Good luck

Yep...26mm pumpers. We have rebuilt many. The other ribbed model shown in the preceeding pics are for the 650. I believe they are 24mm. They will not work for the 1000. The O.D. of the slides is markedly smaller as well. Different everything internally.

Ok so after still not finding out 100% sure what carbs they are i just rebuilt them and used 120 mains and 17.5 pilots, i put the clips on the stock or what i thought was stock in the middle clip. i believe there is five clips spots the middle one two above and two bellow.
I finally started it and adjusted the air screws, started with them all the way in and backed them out till it idled and revved ok. so now the air screws are all they way out (not literally but close) and they still need to come out more so in witch direction to i move the needle clip? up or down and how many clips should i move them?
