So for the fun of it I hooked up my auxiliary fuel tank again. NO LEAKS! I wiggled the tee back and fourth, elevated the tank to about 18 inches above,not a drop.Oh yeah, the parts are ordered :(

Here is what I think happened. I used oderless mineral spirits to set the fuel levels. I had a float leaking so I ordered a needle/seat. Normally when I use the mineral spirits I run gas through right away. This time I didn't while waiting for the parts. I think the o-rings shrunk and then expanded again when gas was added.

Now I need to decide if I should replace them or just go ride. Who knows, maybe the chapstick is just wearing off :cheer:

if dry ride till winter then worry about it....would make good winter project.
