Center Tee leaking on 29's, FIXED!!! was created by kzz1king
Got a chance to give the carbies a good workout today and all is well, except the rear tire is a little smoother :woohoo: Let it sit with the gas on and no spills or thrills. 2 new needle/floats later and all is good. Thanks all.Unfortunately our season is at an end.

not to big...have to come off and need to loosen screws on backing plate for 3 and 4 to move carbs around to get tee out.....just need to replace 4 o-rings and put back toghter. Get o-rings from Z1E. Ive got some exp with 29's.

One more thing, anyone have any luck sourcing the o rings at an auto parts store? I have been paying more for shipping lately than for parts on these carbs.

Try putting some laquare thinner in the carbs and let it fill the line over the tee. It's fixed a leaky tee for me in the past.

Do I need to remove or loosen anything besides the screws that hold the carbs on? Enricher rod? Throttle rod? Thanks

you should be ok....if you need more room...work on 4, remove carb top a disconnect throttle rod bolt from rod..... slide carb out of way. the enrinch rod not a issue will slide off fingers. Will need to work from outside in for clearance

THANKS 4theKZ. You know I never had no trouble till some guy called Wireman told me to put chapstick on my gaskets ;) Must have been the grape flavor that did it.
