Yeah, I'm in Canada so it shouldn't be a problem. Though when I picked up the bike in NV last month it was super hot.

There was some kind of epoxy junk on the outside of the boots in addition to the silicone. It was used to seal cracks, I think.

About the carb boots, there are some blue ones on ebay that I'm wanting, they say they're for the J motor. Will they work on my 77 KZ1000 A?

They will physically fit your engine. They won't work with stock carbs or 29s, only CVs and oversize carbs like RS34s.
