Here is a breakdown of the Stock Carb, BS34 series. There is no Accel pump on these CV carbs.rogerdotcom wrote: So as I was cleaning the carburetors, this spring and ball bearing fell out of one of them. I have looked at the schematic and tried to figure out where they go, does anyone know?
Have you set the Fuel Level, using the clear tube method? Do this before changing any jets. Also what condition are the small O-rings on the Pilot Mixture Screws, #11009A in the drawing?

Would in that case spray directly into the pilot jet while assuring that spray exits through both the bypass port and the mixture port into the carb bore.
Good Fortune!

shouting because if you havent, then its useless cleaning, re-mounting, whatever
BTW, the spring and ball could well come from the inter-carbs sync linkages, if you didnt put them back in place, then your carbs will be surely out of sync....
apologize in advance if those points were covered, bit of a chaotic post.... as a Gpz owner, just trying to help
Did yoshi just looked at them and said go get new ones? .... gee. not impressed.

I figured what the ball and spring was. I should have written that earlier, its the choke slide mechanism. So that is stays in the on, half or off position.
I hope I didn't come off that way, Yoshi and Tommy spent an hour and a half with me looking at it and testing the operation. That was his recommendation after calling another shop with them stumped as well.
If you spray in the pilot jet the fluid exits next to the throttle plate.

mtkawboy wrote: Maybe the 84s are different then the 82s but the 82s have the rubber pilot plugs. Also in the 8939 pics, the first one, to the left of the pilot jet hole theres am aluminum plug. Its supposed to have a flat round rubber washer covering that plug, at least on the 82s anyway. Maybe you have it and its just not in the picture. Ill try to PM you a pic of the inside of my carbs
