yea Permatex #2 is what i used on my petcock for my tank. havent had any problems so far.

cover the damn plastic unit too then :D that or find out why its leaking. Might be a risk of electrical fire..

Actually, the permatex gave out after like 1 summer and it started leaking again. Go to your local harbor freight store and grab a case of metric O-rings. I believe they come in a blue case. Thats what i used on the petcock. I used permatex on the sender and its still holding up fine after a full 2 summers.

There's always praise for Seal-All. I have used it in petcock installs and other places where gasoline may contact. In fact, I have a couple of dirt bike carbs with Seal-All holding grose-jet valves in place.
