the old style 28s 73-75 had 2 screws on top ,tops were a lot flatter also.
the bottems interchange between many carbs,tops also interchange on many of the 76-80 carbs B)


Also, if the original bottoms were still on the original VM28s, if they had the 17mm nut on the bottom, they were early 1973 Z1 carbs.

My 80 ST has an accl pump. WHEN my bike was in 1 piece, it would flat get up and move without any problems. It needed to be tuned pretty bad though because it would pop out the exhaust when I let off the gas. But I'm attributing that to a bike that had been sitting for a couple of years and was put together terribly just so I would buy it. I can't wait to see what it'll do when I can finally get it put back together.
