KZ440 Air Box was created by mwriders
I need to locate an air box for a 1981 KZ440 (trying to avoid pods if I can). New to KZ land and have no idea if anybody has such things NOS or recycled. So, where would you folks start that search? Thanks.

Well, yeh. That's where everything else is coming from. Air boxes seem a tad scarce, though. Patience, I suppose.

You should check, but the way I read Kawasaki.com parts diagrams the 1980-83 KZ440s use the same airbox. Here's one on eBay, there are others:

Be sure to get one that fits - I have no idea how interchangeable they are between 440 models & years. The diagrams at Kawasaki.com have cross-reference & supersession info. Also, when you find one, make sure it has the cap & stuff. 440 airboxes seem kinda rare & the cap seems to be rarer.

PS: I wouldn't buy this one - very good condition w extra holes .
