25's or is that 26's?

No matter... Same time, new technologies in the CR's and Mikuni's.... Easier to work on, tune & jet as well...

Unfortunately & weird though, the new MIk,s don't come in sizes under 34's... Kinda sucks but hey, is what it is....

Oh well, Keihin's it is for me.... 29mm (presently for 1015cc) or 31mm (1075 or 1197cc next build) is all I require...

Ride safe brother and enjoy that new freedom... ACCELERATION!

NOTE: Still pisses by bud off on his VFR on how the old girl kicks his ass (low to mid ranges)....

keep up man....25 pilots.....

BTW... Sax and I have spoken on the CR's and with his beautiful setup (1075 & .410).... 31mm and that old girl will just freaking fly....

Still be enjoyable around town, idle, low range due to 31mm but born to tear it up when called upon as well....

And here we were afraid of carb tuning....
Hey, me as well... :woohoo:

It's been awhile since I checked on this post. :side: I think my head is not leaking too bad yet and I don't know if it will get worse but for now I am not going to worry about it. I cleaned it and it doesn't seem to be leaking too bad but I was told that once the gasket gets wet it continues and you just have to change it to get it to stop. It started at the cam chain area and began to spread a little but it's not bad just a little. I am saving up for those 31's and soon I will get them just in time for new spring.
I noticed my bike ran really hot before but now I think she has broken in nicely. I put a new chain and gears plus Metzler Lazer tires. NICE FREAKING RESPONSE! And when I whack that throttle... She runs like a raped ape. I like it so much I may never buy that zx14 I was thinking about for a daily rider. As long as when I put the carbs and oil cooler on her she doesn't give me grief about overheating she and I will be lifelong lovers.
Those tires really handle very nicely. In short, I LOVE THEM. The oring chain is cool too. Looks like its nickle plated. Very high quality. Now I just gotta get the small details in to play. Going to rebuild and polish front calipers and see about getting them anodized black to look like black chrome and getting the chromite lines put on to better the brake response. I am going to look for a calfab swing arm to replace the stock one with as well. Then the corbin gunfighter and lady saddle along with the stainless bolts to replace all the ugly looking rusted pieces and the engine mount kit.....:woohoo: I am freakin' kookoo for the coco puffs. I have to take a break before people start wondering what is wrong with me.

Yeah man I am with you on that one. I feel the same. I have gone to the dealerships with the intention of buying something that looks better and after 20 years of doing that I still haven't noticed anything that REALLY catches my eye. The zrx1200r came close till I really started looking at it.

Well, I got a manual tensioner in it and it now sounds much better. Wonder at how long it will last before it needs to be replaced. How quick is your bike in the quarter? That is a hella big motor. ;)

Yeah, these bikes are worse than being hooked on crack. Tri could attest to that as well. Amy was telling us of his ebay addiction trying to buy stuff to fix his up.
