Edit: I see your post on the other forum, where you went to several suppliers already looking for these. I did a search and NLA seems to be the common term. But if George is getting them, maybe having them made? Not sure. Tough one.

He told me that the grommets are reserved for customers of carb rebuilds. I told him that my carbs had recently been rebuilt with the exception of the shaft seals. He apologized for not being able to sell me parts. When asked where I might find some, he told me to check his links page which I did. Currently I have emails out to just about everyone I can think of regarding these darned things.

are we talking the two rubber grommets , one on each end of the throttle shaft assembly that covers the holes on each end of the outside carbs?
No, I think those two are referred to as "plugs" we are trying to find the 6 grommets that fit both sides of the two inside carbs and the throttle shaft side of the two side carbs.

i m kind of bored this winter.....i have experience re-building vm series carbs.....might be time to scan ebay and
re-fire the polishing wheel........apparently there is money to be made.....
