There is a tutorial on using screws to reattach the basket together.  I'll look for it for you, but it's linked on the 750 turbo site.  Personally, I'd rather have it TIG'ed.  Anyone that half way knows what they are doing can do the welding for you.  My guy used low temp silicon bronze rod.

Here you go found it . Ive done it both ways welding and bolts . Both works . I think welding is much easier as driving those old rivets out isn't easy

The rollers can get caught in those grooves.  At minimum, I'd polish out any edges.

Clutch damper change article attached below.  Please let me know if it didn't attach correctly.

I’ve decided to order a new "CLUTCH-ASSY-ONEWAY" (13193-1062) as well. From what I understand, this means the starter clutch will now be completely new, correct?Based on the pictures and what we've seen so far, what do you think the issue was with the starter — considering that we haven’t found any obvious or complete damage?Could it simply be wear and tear on the springs, pistons, and the CLUTCH-ASSY-ONEWAY?

I believe it was simply a "wear" issue - given that it works as intended with the plugs removed it appears that it couldn't generate enough "friction" when under load

My guess is that the cause is an accumulation of wear on all the various parts.  And of course, that 810cc piston kit of yours puts even more load on the starter clutch.

Member Daftrusty installed a sprag type starter clutch from a later model 750 into his engine.  That would be the ultimate fix (I think).  I'm pretty sure the new parts you are purchasing should solve the problem, though.
