std is stock diameter. +0.020" and +.040" are overbore sizes.

With vernier caliper i can read bores at 69.9mm
So std i suppose?

Why is existing stock diameter.and overbore sizes ?

Having the two over sized pistons means one could rebuild the motor twice and be able to have cylinder/piston clearance back to speck. This would require boring the bore. The std size can be used if there is no or little wear in the cylinder from the original factory bore.

Using a vernier caliper my guess is you have the reading at the top of the bore where there is no wear from the piston rings and covered with carbon.

The only true way to properly check the cylinder size is by using an inside diameter micrometer. These are expensive and not found at your local hardware store.

Is this a good deal, meaning your ebay piston rings.....not trying to be difficult but just replacing the rings is a crapshoot. It may or may not solve your problem.

This all depends on what you're planning to do. If you had good compression and you're replacing the rings while the engine is apart for something else, then yes, go for standard.

If you have low compression or just high mileage, just replacing the rings may not do much at all if the bore is worn or damaged. I would strongly recommend taking the block to an engine builder and ask them to check it, and re-bore it if it's worn. Because if you just replace the rings and the bore is worn, you've gone through all that effort for nothing. If the bores are fine then pay the engine builder for his time and a hone, which will be cheap.

The compression is good.

The problem is a blue smoke from exausts and a too much oil consomation.

For the moment I replace the piston rings. i find that 1st owner put all the 2nd rings upside down...

If you have other idea for this blue smoke problem...
