Oil light

Really jumped his s**t and even he was stunned.
Anyhow my damn oil light came on for about 10-15 seconds after hitting 2nd gear and blasting up to about 7500 rpm
Everything totally normal and I just coasted down with the clutch in and about 1100-1200 rpm idle.
Bikes runs fine and I've only seen this once before when it was much newer and I was at a drag strip.

I always ride with the oil level right in between the two hash marks in the clutch cover.... that would be on level ground and the bike straight up and down, not on the side stand.
I'm wondering if I should pull the pan and check something out...?

Oil should fill the window when bike is upright. It's on the center stand that it should be in the middle. Sounds like you're running it low.
