Pretty sexy. My hook ups were lost in the fire so I'll need to buy them too. One thing at a time.

What's the best way to hook up the hoses? Like just plug and worm clamp? Or a hose type threaded fitting from the line to the cooler?

If you really want it to look tits, you can have them made up in braided stainless at a hose repair place or use 1/2" fuel line and hide it. I'd go with the fuel line. Low pressure so that's not a problem.

Yeah I'd do the regular stuff I've got some stainless braid hose wrapping shit I can put over it to make it look better. Would fuel line be able to tolerate hot oil?

I've used coolant line with no problems, just didn't like how fat they were.

I don't know if they make high pressure fuel line that big. That would be safer.

I want to ride my Z1R turbo with oil cooler, because it feels and sounds better?
But is there a right way to hook this up? It is hooked up as normal at this time .
Last summer after advice from this forum i blinded off the cooler but the engine is terrible warm at cruising.
So i am not shure how to deal with this .If it is enough with restrictor to get more flow to turbo or not. Thanks

What do you mean by blinded? It should be up front where it can get air flow.

You live in Norway? That's a rather cool climate, so be sure to get a cooler with a thermostat or add one to the system. If the oil doesn't reach normal (hot enough) operating temperatures your engine may accumulate moisture which is not a good thing. Ed

For my application I was also thinking of a fan mounted in front of the oil cooler hooked up to a temperature switch of 180 degrees which turns on the fan when the oil turns 180 degrees. Just kind of an idea ? Any inputs? Also any good places to tap into to put the sensor

I had a fan on my truck. Worked great and when it went off the light in the over ride switch glowed. Wind generator. One day it stopped. Then I was loosing coolant. Fan broke off and punctured my radiator.
Something to think about.

Yeah some bad things could happen ... but do you think a coolant sensor would work with oil?
