But the thing I would like to know is what is a good cam set I know that the higher lift cam will make it run much cooler . Another thing is what size jets would I need to run on pump gas 93 octaine . And in advance I live in indiana where there is now admission testing . The is and still will be Vance and Hines with no baffle . I am not worried about the money I am piecing this motor together mostly from eBay and a couple of sources I have here around home . If you have any tips as to what I can do to make good power my ears are open the motor I am building is a donor and I said I will be doing most all off the work so let's talk about valves jetting dual plugs timing lock up clutches what is the best ?

Well first off not to bust your balls. but 13.5 to isnt gonna be very streetable. And with that high of compression i really doubt youll be running premium 93 pump gas. Then to pass emmisions is gonna be another story. If i was you and if you already have the pistons i would run a ported j head to drop the compression. Not sure if you can get the tops shaved. If it was me i would probably wanna run around 9 to 1 compression. I havent got to use my mtc two stage lock up yet, to tell you how i like it.

Clark, Floyd, Lake, or Porter counties are tested if an automobile was made after 1975.

Motorcycles are exempt from testing.

Yeah, you gotta love it! Here they don't test bikes, but they do test cars. Of course, they don't test diesel trucks, buses, etc. so I guess those big dense black clouds of diesel smoke and the droplets of unburned diesel oil that rain out of poorly running dump trucks here are ok to breathe.

The only thing you gotta worry about is running out of cam chain. Espically since youll be running a new hd chain. Well you should be anyway.

had one turbo spaced up 1/8 inch (.125) for lowering compression at the strip . had to compensate for an angle milled head. was no problem , that will take the wind out of her......   can run all the boost you want....hehehehehehehe

Sorry there were a few typos I meant there is no emissions testing and this bike is intended to cruise the street races and different meets and make a few passes at the track . I live about ten minutes north of louisville ky sorry for the confusion I am posting from an iPhone and having a hell of a time doing so . I would like to run on pump gas , is there no way to jet it rich enough to do so ? They don't exactly sell c16 at marathon there only a couple of places that have 110 octaine . And yes I know this gonna be a ground up build isn't the reason we turn wrenches and modify things to have a sense of accomplishment and for the love of going fast . I have a ford ranger mud bogger that has 40s and 460 in it . I like things that people see and wtf .

Just checking, some people think they can just shove a big set of pistons in a motor and go.
