Im sure he will self destruct again ;) Mods will tire of complaints and pull him off. The shame is that debate and questions are good for any group, as is new blood to keep things fresh, but insane dribble is just insane dribble.

You should build that, let us know how it works.

My many years in the trades tells me .5" i.d tubing is the same size as 1/2" black pipe used for gas piping into a furnace once its been reduced way down, your number is closer to 5/8 actually.
The exhaust on my snow blower is the same as 3/4" gas pipe if that tells you anything.
Time for new batteries in your crystal ball,or you need to quit relying on the google search button to get your info B)
ok, so then I need a 5/8" baffle to prevent my exhaust valves from blowing out the muffler.

I don't know about disconnecting the clean air system, but those reed valves are noisy. tap, tap, tap, and letting off the throttle i.e. letting it snap shut pow, pow, pow,

about the only thing I could really use seafoam for is a carbureted v8 from the 1960's or 70's. it is much easier to just dump a can in the carburetor and see if it dies or not. with late intake manifolds and dumping it in the brake booster hose it is really only going to treat one or two cylinders. I am cautious about rubber intake boots because that stuff eats gasket sealer, and probably rubber also.

possible to dump it in the clean air valve with the engine off and hook a vacuum cleaner to the exhaust to open the reed valves, but some of the valves will be open.
