Failure of combustion in cylinders 2 and 3 is often due to an ignition failure, which could result from a variety of conditions, one of which might be a faulty coil.

Good Fortune! :)

So I went back over and gapped the points, set the timing, and adjusted the cam chain. Now it is running smooth again all cylinders firing. I just wanna know how/why it could get off like that?

also you can see in the first video at the :16 mark that there is what seems like a lot of smoke coming out of the crackcase breather that I have under my temporary "seat". It is still smoking like that, is that a normal amount? I do have the cheapest possible oil in there right now.

Could toss the useless -- imo -- filter where crankcase vents to atsmosphere (open air) and consider routing a hose from the crankcase breather nipple to exit underneath the bike.

As the rings seat and afford better compression, smoke from the crankcase vent due to blow-by will hopefully diminish.

And course, when in doubt, change the oil and filter.

Good Fortune! :)
