Bike wont start after rebuild, need help please

So I finally got everything back together on my project, I went to start it and there is nothing. It is turning over, has spark, and is getting fuel to the carbs. I know the compression is good too. When I go to kick start it there doesnt seem to be much backpressure and it is dead quite, like just turning over thats it. I know its hard to give advice on an issue like this but please any tips or ideas are welcomed. Is there a way to see if the carbs are working properly?

Check your compression with a gauge. Sounds like you say it is not feeling right kicking it.

Thank you for your response. I did a compression check recently and I got 1:155 2:150 3:125 4:175, these numbers are after a top end rebuild. I know the compression is off but shouldnt I at least get some kind of running with that compression? As far as the kick starting I am only assuming since I actually never kick started it prior to rebuilding it.

Yes those are plenty high enough. the lower one could be an issue though.
So when you kick it, it doesn't feel right?
Do the plugs get wet with fuel?
Any fuel actually in the bowls, open a drain screw and see fuel flow out?

When I kick it, it almost seems too easy, but its smooth and everything. Havent check plugs but I did check the bowls and they have fuel. Timing maybe?

Any Pop or Back fire? Sign of life? Got the plug wires on right, and the correct pick-up/ points for each coil? They usually Pop and back fire if it is wrong.

No sound of life at all, thats what sucks. I checked the leads and everything/

So check the plugs and see if they are wet. If not try a small amount of fuel down the plug holes and try again. I like this better than starting fluid/ ether.

So it ran before the rebuild, but how long ago was that? And has it been sitting with gas/ Deathanol in the tank and carbs? You small fuel drillings/ jets might be plugged with corn syrup. The starter/ enrichment jet might be plugged. Did you do any carb work?

Make sure your doing this outside if possible or inside with a fire extinguisher at hand.
