Look what I made. was created by 550A2
I really liked the billet cam cover caps that ape makes for the larger cc kz's and gpz's. But I couldnt fine them for a 550. So I made my own! with a sawzall, die grinder, burrs, a belt sander mounted on the vice, and a file.
Came out pretty good i think. Kind of a trick custom part.
They are not CNC billet perfect but the fit and seal up good, and you cant see the minor imperfections when the tank is on.

how about just casting them? no structural need to carve them from plate or billet
