I went to the site an would not give me any info on my bike.I didn't see any ball bearing when I pulled it out would it be in the motor or what?

I figured it out thanks. The web site at least.
The ball bearing likely remained in place inside the push rod passageway, and didn't fall out.
Which type adjuster is on the bike at hand (i.e., screw type or ball-and-ramp type)??
The two different types usually work in opposite directions when turning to set the desired gap.

...got my shifter to go into first without engaging the clutch handle an neutral, but when I got to put it in 2nd an so on it won't my rear tire moves still like it is in neutral why?
That's normal.
When the bike gets rolling, it will shift into 2nd, etc.

Screw type,I think I found the problem, the spring for the clutch cable looks to be stretched out a little to much,so bought a new one to see if that is the problem....
Imo, it's not the spring.
Cable itself might be partially frozen or internally frayed, or just need oiling. The internal braided cable is supposed to move easily and freely back and forth inside the sheath.
If needed, new clutch cables are available at Z1E and are relatively inexpensive.

I have a 1981 KZ750,thought I had the screw type clutch guess not,the ball an ramp style, excuse me new to this in every which way.K I will look at everything better an try the things ya'll have givin me thanks
Clutch Push Rod Adjustment. Here's how:
Would first lubricate clutch cable, or replace it if necessary.
With bike fully assembled ---
Put maximum slack in clutch cable (adjusters at handlebar and at mid-cable).
Remove access cover to pushrod adjuster screw and locknut.
Loosen locknut.
Turn screw counterclockwise until lightly seated.
Turn screw clockwise 3/8" turn.
Tighten locknut (just snug, don't over-tighten)
Replace access cover.
Adjust clutch cable slack, using both adjusters at handlebar and at mid-cable.
Should be able to squeeze hand-lever about 1/8" very easily before lever gets harder to squeeze as the clutch starts to disengage (compressing clutch springs).
If results are unsuccessful, I may have the screw-turning reversed, as am just guessing without the FSM (Factory Service Manual).
So repeat the process (as used with screw type style):
... Loosen locknut.
Turn screw clockwise until lightly seated.
Turn screw counterclockwise 3/8" turn.
Tighten locknut....
