Good Lord what a thread.Nobody can answer what the original question is so we all take off in 9k directions. Whoa.So if anybody wants a real woody, I have a set of VHA drag spigots, springs and spring tool for sale.Hook up those pipes and these spigots and y have -who the H--- knows but it will go like stink and sound great doin it.Lol.bj

I have that exact same one in chrome. With that adjustable rear mount. It is a Bassani.

Measure the header riser lengths into the collector on both exhausts you have. You'll most likely find the new riser lengths ~ 3" longer thus tuned for lower rpm range.
And yes, there's other factors involved throughout the exhaust design that steer/tune for desired results.
During my research, found this and comes out correctly in exhaust pipe calculators....
A reduction in primary pipe Diameter of 1/8 of an inch will move the torque peak down by 650-800 RPM.
Conversely an increase in diameter of the header will raise the engine speed at which max torque occurs by approx the same RPM for each 1/8 of increase.
Adding length to the primary pipe will increase low speed and mid-range power, with corresponding reduction in power at max RPM.
Shorter primaries give an increase in high speed power, at the expense of reduction in the mid range. However, there will be little change in peak torque or the engine speed at which it occurs.
To establish the best length of primaries for your specific engine, you will need to know the exhaust valve timing, and the revs at peak torque. The bike’s manual or owner's handbook should provide these two figures.
This formula will then approximate your requirements:
Note: The primaries are measured from the head of the exhaust valve and not the flange seat on the outside of the exhaust port. This is because different head designs have different lengths of ports.
