Anyone here ever have them to any motor work and what kind of results did you have with them, ie (problems after build) or anything. I have a 1977 KZ1000A with 8257 miles on it and only want to do it ONCE.
what do you want done?

they do a TON of race stuff but he cut his teeth on kz's.
i've been to his shop, i've foldled his lectrons.
he is right up there in cost but he is in the top 5 in making these old girls run like they did off the showroom floor.
i have personally seen a motor come from germany with a blank check because the guy knew it would be done right.
( it was a h2 motor )
don't get me wrong, there is a ton of talent here who can do the same thing for far less money.
i guess the questions are as follows.
#1
what do you need done @ 8257 miles?
#2
speed costs money. how fast you want to go?
what are you trying to achieve?
stock rebuild or a powerhouse?
someday i will be able to afford my kz habit.

I had him back cut a tranny once, 10 years ago.
Try calling him in nice weather, Dana will tell you he is getting a hair cut or golfing.
Are you local or going to have this shipped.
If your local, Jim Mangus has a cylinder head shop in Buffalo, Jim ran a Top Fuel Nitro Kaw for years.
He does all my head work and cylinder boring

Hell, if truly that low mileage other than cam upgrade this you could do yourself... Unless wanting 1075cc upgrade, head port & polish... Timing components should be like new...
Grem... what are your plans in this?
Increased HP & torque...?
New technology & larger carbs...?:S
Low to mid range or WOT response is what your looking for?
How much you have in mind on spending?
Ok, now you have us guessing....
